Ms. Orsi's critique appears
in green below |
|
"To be asked to judge a Specialty and be given the privilege of offering your opinion on a dog is an honour. Thank you for the compliment. To be brought dogs, as I was brought, of such high quality was beyond my expectations. I cannot tell how thrilled I am for you and Irish Wolfhounds. You will find that I have used the word masculine and bone quite often in my critique. As I played my tapes and reviewed my notes, this kept coming through in my comments. The bitches continue to have quality overall. I have to compliment those who have brought along so many fine males. I saw fronts set too far forward but with flexibility, many hounds moved athletically. Temperaments were for the most part typical. I also want to mention bites, although I am well aware bite is not in the standard. I had very few unacceptable bites (my opinion) or really worn teeth. In fact, it was a pleasure to see hounds with big teeth." |
