PVIWC has three types of membership: Active, Associate, and Junior. You must apply for Associate or Junior membership first, and your dues must be submitted with your initial application. After 6 months of membership and attendance at 2 or more meetings, you may apply for Active membership. PVIWC members must not be under sanction by the AKC or the IWCA. PVIWC members must subscribe to the purposes of the PVIWC, and abide by PVIWC’s Bylaws. Although the club primarily serves the areas of Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, membership is open to everyone regardless of place of residence.

Associate
- 18 or older
- no voting privileges
- may not hold office
- dues – $35/year for an individual and $50/year for a family; half of that the first year if elected after July 1.

- expected to attend meetings and events regularly
